Abstract

the production process PT. XYZ still uses MMH activities which play a dominant role in the activity of moving goods manually. Workers who carry out goods activities can cause illness or injury especially if the work is not done properly. This study aims to reduce the risk of injury to workers. The research was conducted by collecting data on worker complaints using the Nordic Body Map questionnaire, then identifying worker work postures using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method approach to find out what the level of risk is. The results of the study showed that there were complaints felt by workers. The results of the Nordic Body Map questionnaire showed that there were several complaints at a rather sick level with a value of 22.96%, a pain level with a value of 12.6% and a very sick level with a value of 3.15%. The results of the analysis of the assessment of worker posture belonging to category 2 mean that it is moderately dangerous, has a risk of causing injury to workers, so it needs to be repaired, namely in simplicia washing work activities, taking raw materials that have been boiled and putting them into the squeezing machine and work activities suppressing simplicia so that it is more squeezed out quickly, while the posture of workers who fall into category 3 means a high level of danger, is at risk of causing injury to workers and needs to be repaired as soon as possible, namely, in the work activity of taking the results of extortion and entering the results of extortion into the evaporation machine.
