Application of the MOORA Method in Selection of Daihatsu Car Purchase Recommendations

Daihatsu is one of the automotive industries with the largest manufacturing capacity and has the earliest and most complete Research and Development Center facilities in Indonesia. In everyday life, although not a primary need, a car is one of the most important pieces of transportation equipment used by humans in daily activities. because the car acts as human mobility to move to a place so that the selection process must be precise. Therefore we need a system that has the aim of facilitating the selection with an accurate method and requires a short time in the decision-making process in selecting a car. Decision support systems use this method. MOORA (Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis), which can process the selection accurately and quickly so it is needed in selecting the recommended Daihatsu car. The criteria and weights used are C1 = Car Category (2 0%), C2 = Price (15%), C3 = Passenger Capacity (10%), C4 = Cylinder Capacity (20%), C5 = Transmission(20%), C6 = Color (15%). 25 Alternatives for selecting recommendations in buying a car, therefore the results obtained are Xenia 1.3 X MT as the first recommendation with an optimization value of 0.00049404796467179.
