Abstract

Data input is the process of transferring data from physical to digital where the data will be typed and occupied the computer. People in the workplace today have benefited from technological advances. Computers are one such technology. The computer is a necessary tool for completing work at the Office of Industry and Trade of North Sumatra Province. Data processing which includes obtaining, assembling, storing and check information in different ways to provide important, accurate and convenient data, is a function of information technology. The purpose of creating a website-based system using UML (Unified Modelling Language), a visual modeling approach, is to demonstrate object-oriented system design. Use is one way to meet these needs. A data management information system that can be accessed online. Web-based information systems can improve the performance of a regional agency in addition to providing data in real time. and information that can always be accessed.
