CoSIE does not impose any hidden charges related to manuscript submission, editorial assessment, peer review, or publication. Authors will be informed clearly of any applicable publication fee before payment is requested.
Editorial Independence
Payment of publication fees has no influence on editorial decisions, peer-review outcomes, manuscript acceptance, or rejection. All manuscripts are evaluated based on their originality, scientific quality, methodological rigor, relevance to the journal's scope, and compliance with the journal's publication ethics.
Fee Waiver Policy
Authors who do not have sufficient funds to cover the applicable publication fee may request a fee waiver. Waiver requests will be considered by the editorial team based on the author's circumstances and reasonable justification. The editorial decision regarding the manuscript is completely independent of any fee waiver request.

If CoSIE introduces changes to its author fee structure in the future, all applicable fees and conditions will be publicly announced on the official journal website before they take effect. Authors will not be charged fees that were not publicly disclosed at the time of submission.
