CoSIE accepts manuscripts written in English or Indonesian. English is the primary and strongly preferred language of publication. Authors are highly encouraged to submit manuscripts in English to maximize international readership, discoverability, and scholarly dissemination.

Manuscripts written in Indonesian may also be considered for publication, provided that they meet the journal's academic, methodological, and editorial standards. Authors submitting manuscripts in Indonesian are required to provide an English title, abstract, and keywords.

As part of its internationalization strategy, CoSIE progressively encourages a higher proportion of English-language publications.

All research manuscripts submitted to CoSIE undergo a double-blind peer-review process. Manuscripts are evaluated by independent reviewers with relevant expertise to assess scientific quality, methodological rigor, originality, relevance, clarity, and contribution to the field.

Editorial decisions are based on the scientific merit of the manuscript and are independent of the authors' institutional affiliation, nationality, gender, or other non-academic considerations.

CoSIE is an open-access journal. All published articles are freely accessible online immediately upon publication without subscription barriers. Readers may access, read, download, and use published research in accordance with the journal's applicable licensing terms.

Editorial decisions are made independently by the editorial team based on scholarly quality, relevance, originality, and compliance with the journal's editorial policies. Neither the publisher nor external parties may influence editorial decisions based on commercial, institutional, or personal interests.
