Publication Ethics
Duties of Editors
The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for deciding which manuscripts should be published, guided by editorial policies, peer review results, and legal requirements such as copyright and plagiarism regulations.
Each manuscript is initially evaluated by editors and screened using plagiarism detection tools before being sent to at least two reviewers for a blind peer-review process.
Editors must keep information regarding submitted manuscripts confidential and only share it with authors, reviewers, and relevant editorial staff.
Manuscripts are evaluated solely based on academic merit without discrimination regarding race, gender, nationality, or political beliefs.
Duties of Reviewers
Reviewers should complete their evaluations within the agreed timeframe or notify the editor if they are unable to review the manuscript.
Manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents and must not be shared with others.
Reviews must be conducted objectively, with clear arguments and constructive feedback to improve the manuscript.
Reviewers should decline review assignments if conflicts of interest exist with authors, institutions, or related organizations.
Duties of Authors
Authors must present accurate research results and provide sufficient detail to allow replication of the study.
Authors must ensure that their work is entirely original and that all sources are properly cited.
Only individuals who have made significant contributions to the research should be listed as authors.
All authors must disclose any financial or personal conflicts that may influence the research.
CoSIE strictly prohibits plagiarism in any form. All submitted manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts containing plagiarism or unethical publication practices will be rejected immediately.
