Journal of Computer Science and Informatics Engineering (CoSIE) applies the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0) to articles published in the journal. This policy explains copyright ownership, the rights retained by authors, the rights granted to the public, and the conditions under which published articles may be shared and adapted.

Authors retain the copyright of their articles published in CoSIE. By publishing with the journal, authors grant CoSIE the right of first publication and agree to distribute the published article under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

Authors are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights and permissions for any third-party material included in their manuscripts, including figures, images, tables, datasets, and other copyrighted content.

All articles published in CoSIE are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0) .

Authors retain copyright in their published articles and may:

Anyone reusing or adapting a CoSIE article must provide appropriate credit to the original author(s), identify the source of publication, link to the original article where reasonably practicable, link to the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, and indicate whether changes were made.

Unless otherwise stated, the CC BY-SA 4.0 license applies to the article content for which the relevant rights are held and licensed by the copyright holder. Third-party content, including images, figures, photographs, datasets, or other material, may be excluded from the license when a separate copyright notice or credit line indicates different terms. Users must check the relevant credit lines and obtain permission where required by law or by the applicable license. Authors must identify third-party material and obtain the necessary permissions before publication when required.

CoSIE provides immediate open access to its published articles. Readers may access and download articles without subscription or payment. Users must comply with the license conditions when exercising rights granted under the license.

CoSIE aims to maintain consistent license information across its website, article landing pages, downloadable PDF files, and publication metadata. The license should be identified using the same name and version:

The journal will use this license designation in article-level metadata and, where supported, in DOI registration metadata. The article PDF should also display the same license name and link.

License information should be checked during production to reduce inconsistencies between the website, PDF, and metadata records.
