Designing IoT Monitoring and Smart Feed Systems for Ornamental Fish

Automatic feeding in ornamental fish farming has become an important solution to enhance efficiency and fish health. This research develops an Internet of Things (IoT)-based system that integrates sensors and actuators to automate the feeding process. The system is equipped with temperature and turbidity sensors that monitor water quality in real-time, while a servo motor actuator regulates the dosage and timing of automatic feeding. Data from the sensors is sent to the IoT platform for remote monitoring, allowing farmers to oversee aquarium conditions without always being present. Testing results show that the system effectively provides feed at the right time and with the appropriate dosage, contributing to the health and growth of ornamental fish. With the implementation of this IoT technology, the ornamental fish farming process becomes more efficient, reducing farmers' workload and minimizing the risk of feeding errors. It is hoped that this innovation can increase productivity in ornamental fish cultivation and provide convenience for farmers
