Author Guidelines

A. General Requirements

Manuscripts submitted to Jurnal IPTEK Bagi Masyarakat (J-IbM) must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal or publication. Submissions may be written in Indonesian or English and must comply with the journal's academic, ethical, and editorial standards.

Manuscripts should present scholarly contributions in the form of applied research, implementation studies, community-based innovation, technology transfer, program evaluation, community engagement, or other relevant studies supported by clear objectives, rigorous methods, evidence-based findings, and meaningful academic or practical contributions.

Manuscripts must be prepared using the official journal template available at J-IbM Manuscript Template.

All citations and references must follow APA Style (7th Edition) and should be managed using reference management software such as Mendeley or Zotero. Authors are encouraged to use recent and relevant scholarly sources, particularly peer-reviewed journal articles published within the last five years.

B. Manuscript Structure

1. Title

Concise, informative, and accurately reflecting the focus, approach, and contribution of the study. Maximum 15 words.

2. Authors and Affiliations

Full names without academic titles, complete institutional affiliations, and the corresponding author's email address.

3. Abstract and Keywords

Written in Indonesian and English, 100–250 words, covering background, objectives, methods, findings, and conclusions. Provide 3–6 keywords.

4. Introduction

Background and significance of the study • research problem or gap • study objectives • relevant theories, concepts, and previous studies.

5. Methods

Study setting or context • participants, subjects, objects of study, or target groups • research or implementation design • procedures • instruments • data collection and analysis techniques.

6. Results

Clear and systematic presentation of findings supported by relevant evidence, data, tables, figures, graphs, or other visual materials where appropriate.

7. Discussion

Interpretation of findings in relation to study objectives, relevant theories, concepts, and previous studies, including contributions, implications, limitations, and future directions.

8. Conclusion

Summary of principal findings, achievement of study objectives, and main contributions of the study.

9. Acknowledgments

Funding sources, institutional support, technical assistance, or contributions that do not meet authorship criteria.

10. Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial, professional, or personal relationships that could influence the submitted work. If no conflict exists, authors should state: "The authors declare no conflict of interest."

11. References

APA Style (7th Edition). A minimum of 20 references is recommended, with the majority derived from recent and relevant peer-reviewed journal articles.

C. Tables and Figures

Tables and figures should be cited in the text and placed as close as possible to their first mention. Each table and figure must include a clear, concise, and informative title or caption. Authors are responsible for ensuring the quality, readability, and proper attribution of all visual materials included in the manuscript.
