Implementation Of The Prototype Method In Designing An Android-Based Pramubakti Attendance Application With Geolocation Features

One use of the increasingly rapid development of information technology is managing employee attendance data using online attendance in government agencies. This is because attendance is an important part of every agency. However, until now, several agencies still implement attendance using fingerprint attendance machines. In fact, nowadays the use of fingerprints has been abandoned because it is considered less effective and efficient. It is considered less effective because the attendance machine could experience an error at any time and not be able to read fingerprints, thus requiring employees to do attendance manually. Plus the maintenance costs are quite large. Therefore, researchers built an Android-based online attendance information system with Geolocation features using a prototype method and designed with the help of tools from Kodular. This research aims to change the attendance system to make it easier, more efficient and effective. With this application, the processing of employee attendance data will be computerized and digitalized properly and will be effective and efficient.
