Abstract

Digital transformation among MSMEs requires differentiated assistance because digital use, literacy, barriers, service needs, and readiness vary across businesses. This applied quantitative study developed the DIGI-UMKM prototype and analysed 18 of 20 MSME records using a 74-item instrument across five dimensions. Mean scores were 2.76 for digital service use, 3.36 for digital literacy, 2.89 for digitalisation barriers, 4.13 for service needs, and 3.58 for transformation readiness. K-Means produced three operational groups: Basic Digital MSME (5.6%), Developing Digital MSME (72.2%), and Digital Transformation-Ready MSME (22.2%). The initial activity evaluation averaged 3.79/4. DIGI-UMKM therefore provides a decision-support mechanism for differentiated digital assistance, although the findings remain local empirical evidence because of the limited purposive sample.
