Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) requires Indonesian university students to submit attendance records and daily activity logs throughout their community service, often from villages with limited internet connectivity. This study developed a web-based KKN information system using the prototyping method, examined the factors associated with its success, and formulated development priorities. The evaluation integrated the DeLoneMcLean information systems success model with task-technology fit (TTF). Survey data from 193 users (183 students and 10 field supervisors) were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM), importance-performance map analysis (IPMA), and the Kruskal-Wallis test. TTF was the strongest predictor of user satisfaction (β = 0.542, p < 0.001). Satisfaction and TTF jointly explained 74.4% of the variance in effective use, whereas effective use and satisfaction explained 78.4% of the variance in net benefits. IPMA identified TTF, satisfaction, and effective use as the constructs with the highest importance. Lower perceived internet quality was associated with lower perceived access speed (p = 0.002) but not with satisfaction or net benefits. A load test on the production server handled up to 50 concurrent users without errors. The proposed development priorities are analytical recommendations that remain to be validated through subsequent implementation
