Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

JISTR, is a proper channel for publication of papers in science and technology. Manuscripts reporting experimentation or research in field crops will be accepted for review as papers.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES

An acceptable manuscript will meet the following general criteria: it reports a worthwhile contribution to science, sound methodology was used and is explained with sufficient detail so that other capable scientists could repeat the experiments. Conclusions are supported by data, manuscripts is concise, well written, and understandable.

 

MANUSCRIPT FORMAT

Manuscript should be uploaded to JISTR system and arranged in standard format, Title, Authors, Address and Email, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Result and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgment and References. Typed at one side of white paper of A4 size, in single column, 1 space line, 10 point Times New Roman font and should be given line numbers. Margins on all four sides are 2 cm.

Abstract: A well-prepared abstract enables the reader to identify the basic content of a document quickly and accurately, to determine its relevance to their interests, and thus to decide whether to read the document in its entirety. The Abstract should be informative and completely self-explanatory, provide a clear statement of the problem, the proposed approach or solution, and point out major findings and conclusions. The Abstract should be 100 to 200 words in length. The abstract should be written in the past tense. Standard nomenclature should be used and abbreviations should be avoided. No literature should be cited. The keyword list provides the opportunity to add keywords, used by the indexing and abstracting services, in addition to those already present in the title. Judicious use of keywords may increase the ease with which interested parties can locate our article (9 pt).

Introduction (Times New Roman, size 12)

The Introduction should provide a clear background, a clear statement of the problem, the relevant literature on the subject, the proposed approach or solution, and the new value of research which is innovation. It should be understandable to colleagues from a broad range of scientific disciplines. The organization and citation of the bibliography are made in IEEE style in sign and so on. The terms in foreign languages are written in italic (italic). The text should be divided into sections, each with a separate heading and numbered consecutively. The section/subsection headings should be typed on a separate line, e.g., 1. Introduction. Authors are suggested to present their articles in the section structure: Introduction - the comprehensive theoretical basis and/or the Proposed Method/Algorithm - Research Method - Results and Discussion – Conclusion. Reference should apply IEEE Style. (Times New Roman, size 10).

 

Research Method (Times New Roman, size 12)

Explaining research chronological, including research design, research procedure (in the form of algorithms, Pseudocode or other), how to test and data acquisition. The description of the course of research should be supported references, so the explanation can be accepted scientifically  (Times New Roman, size 10).

 

Result (Times New Roman, size 12)

In this section, it is explained the results of the research and at the same time is given a comprehensive discussion. Results can be presented in figures, graphs, tables and others that make the reader understand easily. The discussion can be made in several sub-chapters.

Discussion (Times New Roman, size 12)

Contains the discussion resulting from the description of community service and theoretical discussion that is relevant to the findings of community service. This section also discusses the theoretical findings of the service process from the beginning until the social changes occur. The discussion is supported by references and theoretical perspectives provided by relevant literature reviews. The reference must apply IEEE Style. (Times New Roman, size 10)

 

Conclusion (Times New Roman, size 12)

Provide a statement that what is expected, as stated in the "Introduction" chapter can ultimately result in "Results and Discussion" chapter, so there is compatibility. Moreover, it can also be added the prospect of the development of research results and application prospects of further studies into the next (based on result and discussion). Acknowledgements (Times New Roman, size 12)

Contains the descriptions of acknowledgements or acknowledgements to parties (individuals or institutions) who are directly or indirectly involved in the success of community service program activities. (Times New Roman, size 10).

 

References (Times New Roman, size 12)

(References writing should follow IEEE Style rules. (Times New Roman, size 10).
