NEW ACCREDITATION
JISTR maintains a transparent publication fee policy to support the editorial and publishing processes. Authors are not required to pay any fee when submitting a manuscript. Article publication charges are applied according to the author's eligibility and the journal's established fee structure.
The following fee structure applies to manuscript submission and publication:
| Fee Category | Amount |
|---|---|
| Manuscript Submission Fee | Free (IDR 0) |
| Article Publication Fee - Indonesian Authors | IDR 500,000 |
| Article Publication Fee - International Authors | Free (USD 0) |
Indonesian Authors: A publication fee of IDR 500,000 applies to Indonesian authors, subject to the journal's international author eligibility and fee waiver provisions.
International Authors: The publication fee is waived for non-Indonesian authors or manuscripts whose first author is affiliated with an institution outside Indonesia. Eligible submissions are not charged an article publication fee (USD 0).
For submissions involving mixed nationalities or affiliations, authors are encouraged to confirm the applicable fee category with the editorial office before payment.
The article publication fee supports the following publishing services:
These services support the publication process and do not guarantee manuscript acceptance. All submissions remain subject to the journal's editorial assessment, peer-review standards, and publication ethics requirements.
The standard publication fee covers a manuscript of up to ten (10) pages prepared using the official JISTR manuscript template.
Manuscripts should comply with the page limits and formatting requirements specified in the Author Guidelines. Authors preparing manuscripts exceeding the standard ten-page length should contact the editorial office to confirm any applicable additional conditions before publication.
JISTR recognizes that financial limitations should not prevent the dissemination of scientifically valuable research. Authors who experience financial difficulties may request a partial or full waiver of the applicable publication fee.
Waiver requests must be accompanied by a reasonable explanation and are considered by the editorial team on a case-by-case basis.
The evaluation of waiver requests may consider the author's financial circumstances, the scientific quality of the manuscript, its relevance to the journal's scope, and the contribution of the research to scholarly knowledge.
Approval of a fee waiver is not automatic and does not guarantee manuscript acceptance or publication. Editorial decisions remain independent of financial considerations.
The manuscript submission process is free of charge. Any applicable article publication fee is requested only after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.
Payment of publication fees does not influence editorial decisions, peer-review outcomes, or the acceptance or rejection of manuscripts.
All manuscripts are evaluated based on originality, scientific merit, methodological quality, relevance to the journal's scope, reviewer recommendations, and compliance with publication ethics.
Payment information and instructions, where applicable, are communicated to the corresponding author through the journal's official communication channels.
Authors requiring clarification regarding publication fees, international author eligibility, manuscript length, or fee waiver requests may contact the editorial office through the journal's official contact page.
